At my highest weight I weighed 759 pounds. I started Medifast a few years ago and I weighed 520 at the time. I got down to 333 pounds and was told by my doctor and plastic surgeon that I was down to goal and the rest was just excess skin. While waiting to get my apron of skin removed from my tummy, I gained part of the weight I had lost back. I had the surgery, developed health problems and depression and now I am back up to over 600 pounds. I am starting Medifast again on June 2, 2012. I know I need to get on it and stick to it or I am going to die. I went to see my doctor last year in November and she told me then if I don't lose the weight, I am going to die soon. She wanted me to have gastric bypass. I don't want that, but looked into it anyway. The surgeon I talked to told me that he won't do the surgery on me until I am down into my 200s. I feel if I can get down that far, I might as well just do this on my own again with Medifast. I am tired and sick all the time, stuck at home in bed again and never feel very well. I have lymph edema and my legs are so swollen that it is impossible for me to walk. When I had lost all that weight with Medifast in the past, the thing I miss is being able to go out and go places. I had to use my walker, but I could do it. Now when I try that, I get so out of breath fast and I hurt all over my body. I am looking for friends who can not only be of support to me as I get going on this journey again, but friends that can relate to what I am going though. I would love it if you and I can be friends. I am not sure if you are on Facebook, but if you are, I am Tarra Young on there (the one who loves in Fairfield, California.Tarra Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860754747012532832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4351141370784175802.post-35058071014184543322011-10-31T20:54:20.674-07:002011-10-31T20:54:20.674-07:00Amazing! I did medifas...Congratulations on your weight loss. I did medifast myself and lost 115 pounds but then I got off of it and gained 184 pounds. YIKES! I am on a new journey with gastric bypass surgery. I don't really think it is the how I think it is more about doing it and keeping it off. You are doing great! I've lost 174 pounds and have another 209 to lose. Congratulations on your success and I wish you the best.

P.S.
